BOOTHMAN, Jack (Blessington, Co. Wicklow and former President of The GAA) - On Jack's First Anniversary, May 10, Nuala, Siobhán, Trish, Bob, Janet, John, Catriona and families wish to acknowledge and express our warmest appreciation to our neighbours and friends for all their kindness and support at that sad time. We gratefully acknowledge the help we received from The Ambulance Service, First Responders, Dr. Michael Joyce, An Garda Síochána, Tony and Regina Clarke on the morning of Jack's death. We thank all those who called to the house, attended the funeral service, sent cards, letters and messages of sympathy. A special word of thanks to Blessington GAA Club for the wonderful support to the family and to the Juvenile Club for their Guard of Honour. Our thanks to An t-Uachtarán Aogán Ó Fearghail agus Ard Stiúrthóir Páraic Ó Dufaigh and former Presidents of Cumman Lúthchleas Gael, to Wicklow County Board and to his many GAA friends who travelled long distances to pay their final respects to Jack. Thank you to his Veterinary colleagues and friends from The Dept. of Agriculture. We would also like to thank those who officiated at the service, Rev. Leonard Ruddock, Rev. Olive Boothman and the priests of the parish and those who made donations to Peter McVerry Trust. As it is not possible to thank everyone individually we hope that you will accept this notice as an expression of our sincere gratitude and appreciation, your thoughtfulness and kindness will always be remembered.
