PERDUE, - Ernon (Retired Dean of Killaloe and Clonfert), peacefully on the 10th December 2018 in the exceptional loving care of St John’s House; dear husband of the late Heather (née Gregory), adored father of Keith, Gillian, Adrienne and Conor, loving brother of the late Rosslyn and Hugo, proud grandfather of Jack, Eva, Jessica, Sara, Zoe, Abi, Orla, Aiden and Libby. He will be greatly missed and remembered with affection by Joyce, Heather, Angus, David, his nieces and nephews and his wide circle of friends throughout the country. Requiem Eucharist celebrating his varied life and ministry in Rathfarnham Parish Church, Rathfarnham Village at 10.30 am on Wednesday (December 12) followed by cremation in Mount Jerome Victorian Chapel at 1.00 pm. 'Death is not extinguishing the light; it is putting out the lamp because the dawn has come.’
