BLAKE (Blackrock Co. Dublin and Churchtown Mallow) - January 8, 2017, (peacefully), at the residence of his daughter Fiona and son-in-law John Sampson, Churchtown, John, (late Station House and CIE), beloved husband of the late Teresa (née Power) and much loved father of Helen, Richard, Mary, Ann, Sean, and Fiona; sadly missed by his loving family sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, niece, relatives and friends. Reposing at Carnegies Funeral Home, Monkstown, Co. Dublin today (Wednesday) from 4pm to 5.30pm for visitation. Requiem Mass tomorrow (Thursday) at 11am in St. John the Baptist Church, Blackrock, Co. Dublin. Funeral afterwards to Shanganagh Cemetery.

BLAKE, John, (Station House, Bath Place, Blackrock, Co. Dublin), January 8. The family of the late John would like to thank all those who sympathised with us on our sad loss. Thanks to all those who sent Mass cards, Floral tributes, letters of condolences and phoned and those who attended the House, Rosary and Funeral Mass. A special thanks to all our wonderful relatives, friends and neighbours who helped us in any way. As it would impossible to thank everyone individually please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our heartfelt thanks and gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all your intentions.
