POWELL, Rev. Fr Oliver (Knapton Road, Dun Laoghaire, Co Dublin) - October 2, 2021 (Peacefully) at the Wicklow Hospice; beloved son of the late Patrick and Christine Powell and brother of the late Eilish. Deeply regretted by his brother Colm, sisters Eileen and Anne, nieces Síbeal, Arabella, Christine and their husbands, nephews Donal, Oliver, Seamus, Peter and their wives, grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins, the extended Powell and Evans families, the Regional Vicar of Opus Dei in Ireland, Fr Donncha Ó hAodha, the faithful and cooperators of Opus Dei and all who knew him and loved him so much. May Fr Oliver Rest in Peace Funeral Mass on Monday (4th October) at 10am in the Church of Our Lady Queen of Peace, Merrion Road, Dublin, followed by burial at Shanganagh Cemetery. Church capacity is limited to 50%. Those who would have liked to attend but cannot, may view the Funeral Mass on the following link, https://www.merrionroadchurch.ie/live-webcam/. Family flowers only. Donations, if preferred, to the Irish Cancer Society.
