Hickey (née Ryan), Marie (Rathfarnham and formerly of The Rower, Co Kilkenny) - April 11, 2014 (peacefully) after a short illness, at Belmont Nursing Home. Beloved wife of Richard and much-loved mother of Austin, Pat and Susan. Will be very sadly missed by her family, daughter-in-law Jennifer, grandchildren Stephen, Gavin, Sophie and Daniel, brothers Seamus, John Joe and Tom, sisters-in-law, relatives and a large circle of friends. Rest in Peace. Removal today (Wednesday) to the Church of The Annunciation, Rathfarnham arriving for 11.30am Funeral Mass and thereafter to Mount Venus Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to Irish Cancer Society.

HICKEY (née Ryan), Marie (Rathfarnham and formerly the Rower, Co. Kilkenny) - died April 11, 2014. On this the First Anniversary of Marie's death, her husband Richard, sons Austin and Pat, daughter Susan, daughter-in-law Jennifer, grandchildren, brothers Seamus, John-Joe and Tom and extended family, wish to sincerely thank those who attended her Funeral Mass, sent Mass and Sympathy Cards and letters of condolence. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Fr. Martin Noone, who remains a great source of comfort and consolation to our family, and who along with Fathers John and Richard (Dickie) Lyng made Marie's Funeral Mass very special. We would also like to thank all the staff at the Beacon Hospital, Newtown Park Avenue and Belmont Nursing Homes who cared for Marie during the last months of her life. Finally we would like to especially thank our many friends, neighbours and relatives for their continuous support. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions. "Forever in our hearts".
