SMYTH, James William (Willie) (Clontarf, Dublin, proprietor of J. W. Smyth Raheny and Portmarnock) – January 18, 2025, suddenly but peacefully at home, in the presence of his loving wife Mary, cherished father of David, Brendan and Emer. He will be sadly missed by his family, daughters-in-law Deirdre and Aoife, grandchildren Níamh, Maeve, Rónán, Fina, Conor, Orla and Cormac, brother-in-law James Fahey (USA), nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours. Pre-deceased by his brother Donal and niece Jackie. Reposing at the Fanagan Kirwan Funeral Home, Fairview Strand tomorrow (Thursday, Jan. 23) from 5pm until 7pm. Funeral on Friday (Jan. 24) to St. Anthony’s Church, Clontarf arriving for 10am Requiem Mass. Cremation afterwards in the Dardistown Crematorium. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to St. Francis Hospice, Raheny. May he Rest in Peace
