BYRNE (née Matthews) Nancy, (Templeogue and Ranelagh, Dublin and formerley of Killimor, Co. Galway) - January 27, 2014, peacefully at home surrounded by her family; beloved wife of the late Mike Byrne (Wicklow and Irish Shipping); loving mother to Geralyn and Moya, and loved mother-in-law to Greg and Michael, wonderful and adored grandmother to Jack, Anna and Mike. Very deeply regretted by her sister-in-law Essie, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, cousins, relatives and a wide circle of friends. Reposing at home tomorrow (Wednesday) afternoon from 4.00 o'c until 8.00 o'clock Removal on Thursday morning to the Church of the Three Patrons, Rathgar arriving at 11.15 o'c for Funeral Mass at 11.30 o'c followed by burial at Rathnew Cemetery (at 2.00pm approx.)."Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam dílis"

BYRNE Nancy (née Matthews) (Ranelagh and Killimor, Co. Galway) - Beloved wife of the late Mike Byrne. Died January 27, 2014. On Mums First Anniversary her daughters Geralyn and Moya, her sons-in-law Greg and Michael, her adored grandchildren Jack, Anna and Mike have been so touched for the continuous support and comfort we receive from family and friends. We thank you for being with us at her Mass, for the beautiful letters, cards, memories shared, kind gestures, cooking and company. A special appreciation to Dr. Stephen Ryan, everyone in the Heart Failure unit in St. Michael's Hospital Dun Laoghaire, Prof. Bernard Walsh, Mr. Martin O'Donohue, Mr. George Mellotte, the Hospice and Public Health nurses for their gentle care of Mum, to Fr. Dermot McNeice, Fr. Joe Doran and Maire Ledwith Butler for making her funeral Mass a real celebration of Mums life and to David Fanagan who guided and looked after us. Nancy loved us all,
loved and lived life to the full,
let us remember her with a smile .
