DOOLY - John (Mount Merrion, November 30, 2020). As the First Anniversary of John’s death approaches, his wife Fina, sons John, Neal, Kevin and daughters Louise and Sarah would like to thank all who extended their support, kindness and sympathy over the past year. In particular, we are grateful for the support from family and close friends during this time. The pandemic meant that John could not have the send off he deserved. However, we are so thankful to the neighbours who bid farewell on the roadside and the many that attended the Mass outside or viewed online. We would also like to thank all who sent Mass cards, letters of support and thoughtful gifts. A special word of thanks to Dr. John Deignan, his GP, and the staff at St. Vincent’s Private, in particular Dr. Emmet McGrath, who cared so well for John during the last weeks of his life. We would also like to thank Fr. Joe Mullan for the beautiful cermoney and Massey Bros. for the funeral arrangements. John, our wonderful husband, Dad, Grandad and friend will be forever missed and never forgotten. Please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our appreciation. Mass has been offered for your intentions.
