KEYES, Gwen (Gwendoline) (Dundrum and formerly of New York and Abbeyleix) - October 1, 2021 (peacefully) in her 96th year in the exceptional care of the staff at Orwell Private N.H., Rathgar surrounded by her loving nieces Orla, Ros, Gill and nephew-in-law Emmet. Beloved sister of Olive, Stanley, Fergus, Gilbert and the late Joyce. She will be deeply missed and remembered with much love and affection by all her nieces and nephews around the world, sisters-in-law Maureen and Riitta, grand nieces, grand nephews, extended family, friends and neighbours. Funeral Mass this (Monday) morning at 11.15 am in the Church of the Holy Cross, Dundrum which may be viewed on this link https://www.dundrumparish.com/webcam/ followed by burial at Deans Grange Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu to Focus Ireland. In our hearts and thoughts forever

My Dear Aunt Gwen lives in Heaven and in my heart. She was a great world traveler and a great friend to world travelers. She visited O'Briens who had moved to Australia in 1920s. And she hosted two Aussies in NYC, too! Desmond Keyes

Maureen and Fergus Keyes. We mourn the passing of our sister and sister-in-​law, Gwen. She was the most wonderful sister to all and had a wonderful life. Rest in Peace.
