SIMPSON - Benne (December 31, 1944 - October 20, 2022) - As we approach the first Christmas without our beloved Benne, the loss which we have suffered becomes more poignant. She was the heart of the family, and her warm presence will be sadly missed. However, we are strengthened by the expressions of sympathy and support which we have received from so many people, and we wish to thank all those who attended the Funeral Service at Mount Jerome and the Funeral Home in Lucan, and those who sent Mass Cards, Sympathy Cards and messages of condolence. Although we knew that Benne had touched many people's lives through her life and her work in various fields, it was lovely to have confirmation that her help and friendship was so widely valued. Benne had a difficult last six months, and we wish to pay tribute to the medical staff who provided wonderful care, respect and affection to her at : Memory Clinic, MISA, St James's Hospital; Patrick Kavanagh Ward, MISA; Cherry Orchard Hospital; Redwood Ward, Blanchardstown Hospital; and Liffey Unit, Ryevale Nursing Home, Leixlip. We thank also Cunninghams Funeral Directors and Mount Jerome Cemetery for their professional guidance and arrangements. On behalf of the Simpson and Madden families, we hope that you will all accept our gratitude for, and appreciation of, your kind thoughts, words and deeds.

Geoff, Alun, Emma and Kate.
