Liam was a most supportive colleague, especially to a freelance like myself. I liked him hugely and appreciated his strict and always caring professionalism. I send his family my sincere condolences, and my regret that work issues prevented me from getting to his funeral. I send you now also my Kindest Regards, Peter Thompson, Arklow, c/o The Irish Times.
