O'CONNELL, James (Seamus) – (Blackrock, Co. Dublin and formerly of Ballyhooly, Co. Cork) – January 11, 2022 (peacefully) in the exceptional care of the staff of Newtownpark House Nursing Home. Beloved husband of the late Mary, much loved Father of Catherine, Helen, John and the late infant William, adored grandfather of Kevin, Alanna, Hannah, Katie, Ryan & Matthew and great-grandfather of Lori. He will be sadly missed by his loving family, son-in-law Dennis, brother and sister, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam. Funeral Mass on Saturday (January 15) at 10.00am in St. John the Baptist Church, Blackrock followed by cremation in the Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold’s Cross, D6w.
