GRIFFIN, Denis (Dan) ('Aishling', Gentian Hill, Salthill and formerly St. Mary’s Park, Galway) - 15 October, 2023 (peacefully) at home with his much loved family by his side. Predeceased by his wife Pauline, their daughter Sheila and his brother Donal. Mourned and sadly missed by his sons Denis, Rory and Barry and by his daughter Ursula, sister Connie, daughters-in-law Catherine and Isbéal, sons-in-law Tim and Niall, his adored grandchildren Stephen, Ailbhe, Fiachra, Laoise, MacDara, Aimee, Lara, Shane, Óisin and Sorcha, by Stephen’s mother Deirdre, Niall’s wife Emer, the extended Griffin and Brennan family, neighbours and friends. Reposing at the O’Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, on (Thursday), 19 October from 5.00 p.m. with Removal at 6.30 p.m. to the Church of Christ the King, Salthill. Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Dan on Friday, 20 October at 11 a.m. and following Mass he will be laid to rest in Furbo Cemetery.
