BEHAN, Irene (née O'Callaghan), (Stillorgan and formerly of Trees Road, Mount Merrion and Sandymount). Irene's husband James (Jimmy) and sons David and Stephen, would like to acknowledge the many expressions of sympathy and gestures of kindness shown to them following Irene's passing. Our heartfelt thanks to our extended family, friends and neighbours who attended the funeral service and who also provided emotional and practical support for us at this difficult time. For those who sent cards, offered Masses of condolences, as well as those who made charitable donations to The Irish Kidney Association, we are truly grateful. A very special word of thanks to Prof. Alan Watson, St. Vincent's University Hospital and Dr. Arwa and all the staff at Beacon Renal. Our sincere appreciation to Fr. Paddy O'Byrne who visited Irene in St. Vincent's University Hospital. For those who participated in the Funeral Mass, Fr. Brian O'Reilly for his kind words, Niamh Mc Cormack for her beautiful singing, Rom Massey & Sons - Cranford Centre and Deansgrange Cemetery for their sensitive and professional handling of all Irene's arrangements, we are truly thankful. Finally, as it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our gratitude. A Mass has been offered for your intentions.
