RUTHERFORD - Colman, Castle Heights, St. Joseph's Road, Mallow and formerly of Ennis, Co. Clare, peacefully, in Marymount University Hospital and Hospice, Cork, on Wednesday November 19, 2025, surrounded by his family, after a long illness borne with quiet courage. Predeceased by his sister Josephine and parents John and Mary. He will be greatly missed by his much loved wife Irene (Murphy), daughters Emily, Orla and Eleanor, brother Seán and sister Máiréad, sons-in-law Pádraic, Darren and Dónal, grandson Páidí Colmán, nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends in Cork, Clare and abroad. Reposing in O'Keeffe's Funeral Home, Bowling Green, Mallow (P51 XE2T) on today (Friday) from 5:30pm to 7:00pm, followed by Prayers. Reception into St. Mary's Church, Mallow on tomorrow (Saturday) for Requiem Mass at 12 noon, after which Colman will be laid to rest in St. Gobnait's Cemetery, Mallow.
