HOGAN Kitty - On the first anniversary of Kitty's death, her son and daughter-in-law, Frank and Fran Hogan, (Limerick) and her daughter, Alicia Curran (Killybegs), her sisters Pauline and Helena and her brother Dennis, along with her extended family, acknowledge with many thanks the numerous kindnesses shown to Kitty. They particularly wish to thank her dear friends Marie, Rose, Myra and Margaret for many years of affection and friendship and birthday cakes and flowers. Grateful thanks also to Kitty's wonderful carers, every single one, who devoted so much time and attention to her and who brought with them laughter and good humour every day. Michael Ryan, John Bob and Eddie Hally brought a smile to Kitty's face every time they came to see her, and also gave practical help when it was necessary. She held them in high regard and great fondness, along with all her good neighbours. The thoughtfulness of all these friends are a constant reminder of the goodness of people. We thank those who travelled long distances to bid Kitty farewell. Her family were very appreciative of this and of the numerous cards and messages of sympathy they received. Terry, Sean, and Jo at St. Anthony's Nursing Home, Pallasgreen, made Kitty's time there comfortable and content. They, and all their Nursing, Caring and Household staff looked after her with loving care in a happy atmosphere, and with a warm welcome for all her many visitors who so often came to see her. Grateful thanks to them and also to her life-long friends at Rockwell College where she attended Mass for more than seventy years. Special thanks to Fathers Cunningham, Moore, and Meade. Holy Mass will be offered for the good health and happiness of all. Kitty's Anniversary Mass will be offered at Rockwell College by Father Jack Meade on Sunday April 8, 11.30 am." Pray for me, as I will pray for thee and all thy friends that we may merrily meet in Heaven" Sir Thomas More.
