De WIT, - Maarten (Plettenberg Bay, South Africa) April 15, 2020. Professor at Nelson Mandela University, Port Elizabeth. Formerly of New Ross and Dublin. Peacefully at home. Much loved and sadly missed by his loving family, partner Lynn Ferguson, children Thandi and Tjaart, with their spouses Matt and Amy, granddaughter Emma, brothers Boudewijn and Michiel and nephews and nieces. He was an inspiration to us all. Due to current travelling restrictions, a memorial service will be held in South Africa on a date yet to be determined.
