KILCRANN - Fr. John C.S.Sp (Kimmage Manor, Dublin, formerly, Corlaskagh, Eslin, Co. Leitrim) died June 11, 2019 -

John’s sister Mary, brother James and the Kilcrann family would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all who sympathised with us on the unexpected death of John.

Special thanks to the medical personnel in Kimmage Manor and the healthcare professionals in A&E and the ICU in St. James’s Hospital, Dublin who took such great care of John during his short illness. Our sincere thanks to all of John’s Spiritan confreres and the administrative team within the Irish Spiritan’s who arranged John’s funeral and burial. Special thanks to Fr. Martin Kelly C.S.S.p who celebrated John’s funeral Mass which was concelebrated by so many of John’s friends from the Spiritan community. Also special thanks to Fr. Brendan Carr C.S.S.p who delivered the homily.

Our heartfelt thanks to everybody who travelled to Kimmage Manor for John’s reposing and funeral Mass and also to those who accompanied us to Dardistown cemetery for his burial. Thank you also to all those who phoned, text, sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, called to the house and left messages of condolence on rip.ie and social media.

We would also like to thank Fr. Pat Murphy P.P. who celebrated John’s Months Mind Mass in Mohill church and all who attended it. Special thanks to the group of priests from the Spiritan community who travelled from Dublin for the occasion. As it would be impossible to thank everybody individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our sincere gratitude and appreciation.
