LUCEY, Stephen C. (December 1, 2016) (Blackrock and Irishtown). Paddy, Barbara, Sarah, Nicola, the extended family and Stephen's partner Clare would like to thank you most sincerely for your extraordinary outpouring of kindness and support on their very sad loss of Stephen. We thank those who travelled for the Funeral, especially Ross and Ruth Kelly, who came from the Cayman Islands, those who sent Mass Cards, Letters, Sympathy Cards, Flowers and Sustenance. We thank especially Rev. Fathers Tom Nash, Fr. Ivan Tonge, Fr. Fergal MacDonagh, Fr. Joe Harte and Msgr. Dan O'Connor, for their deeply meaningful celebrations of the Funeral Services. We thank Church Volunteers, Liz and Sadie and all those who participated in Stephen's Funeral Mass. Especially we thank Simon whose input was so important throughout Stephen's Funeral. We are deeply grateful to the musicians who played so beautifully and to Stephen's cousin, Eleanor Kenny Boyd whose singing was so deeply moving. We thank Gerard Cullen and Warren of Fanagans Funeral Directors for their sensitivity. We thank the Class of 2002 Blackrock College, Blackrock College RFC, the Committee and Members of Sandymount Touch Rugby and Monkstown Rugby Club along with Stephen's many other friends from all walks of life including those in the Irishtown/Ringsend Community. We appreciated greatly the beautiful gesture by the Members of Monkstown Rugby Club on Stephen's final journey. We are grateful to Garda Dermot Delaney and Garda Stephen Duggan of Donnybrook Garda Station. We thank especially Gavin Little and Ross Kelly and Friends who organised the beautiful Album presented to the Family and to the Committee and Members of Sandymount Touch Rugby who also compiled an album for us. These albums will be forever cherished by Stephen's Family. We thank Caroline Little who organised the "Bright Lights" Tag Rugby Tournament in Stephen's name for AWARE and Pieta House which was a tremendous success due to her hard work. We also thank Stephen's cousins Hannah and Jennifer Kenny Boyd who organised a Table Quiz also in Stephen's name for AWARE, which was a sell out. Thank you so much. Congratulations to Hannah who also arranged many events throughout the year in her cousin's Stephen's name for AWARE, culminating in a Cake Sale which exceeded Hannah's target for the year!. Thank you all so much. We appreciated greatly the Walk on September 10, in Stephen's honour for Pieta House organised by Garry Coughlan and the Members of Monkstown Rugby Club. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the intentions of All. Stephen will always live on in the hearts of those who loved him. A First Anniversary Mass will be celebrated on Sunday, December 3, 2017 at 12.00pm at St. Patrick's Church, Ringsend.Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis.
