KENNEDY C.S.Sp., (Blackrock College, St. Joseph's Parish Glasthule and late of Borrisoleigh, Co. Tipperary). Peacefully at Nazareth House Nursing Home on Tuesday March 25, 2025. Missionary in Nigeria, Kenya and United States. Predeceased by his sister Marie (Fogarty), brother Seamus and grandnephew John. Sadly missed by his sister Margaret (Ryan), brother-in-law Jimmy, sister-in-law Zita, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, his Spiritan confrères and wide circle of friends. Removal to Kimmage Manor Community Chapel (D12 TY2W) for prayers at 3 pm Thursday March 27. Farewell Mass for Fr. Denis in St. Joseph's Church Glasthule at 11:30am on Saturday 29. Then reposing in Kennedy's Funeral Home, Borrisoleigh (E41 VX 81) from 5pm to 7pm on Saturday March 29 with removal to the Sacred Heart Church, Borrisoleigh to arrive at 8pm. Requiem Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Borrisoleigh on Sunday March 30 at 1pm, followed by interment in St. Brigid's Cemetery Borrisoleigh. Family flowers only please. Rest in peace.
