SWANWICK, Noel of Ballinasloe and Kilconnell, Co. Galway. September 30, 2021. Peacefully with his family in the wonderful care of the staff of St Joseph’s ward and of Portiuncula Hospital. Dearly beloved husband of Valerie for 60 years and much loved father of Greg and Nigel, father-in-law of Roberta and Mandy, and grandfather of Elizabeth, Catherine, Rachel, John, and Heather. Sadly missed by his extended family, friends, and neighbours. In accordance with Noel’s wishes his body is being donated to the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland for medical education and research. Consequently, the burial and memorial service will be held at a later date. Messages of sympathy can be forwarded through the “Condolences” section online.
