SHIEL, Alan (Dundrum, Dublin) - November 9 2014, (peacefully) at home, surrounded by his loving family, after an illness borne with courage, dignity and humour. Will be hugely missed by his adoring wife, Helen; Sarah, Mikey and Eoin; Alison and Orna; his mother, Hazel; sisters, Cecily and Sylvia; and by the whole family circle and his many friends. Reposing at his home, the house will be open from 2pm - 6pm today (Tuesday). A Funeral Service will be held in Dundrum Methodist Church tomorrow (Wednesday) at 11.30am with cremation to follow in Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold's Cross. Family flowers only please; donations, if desired, can be made to the Irish Cancer Society c/o Nichols Funeral Directors, Lombard Street East, Dublin 2."I am with you always,
until the end of time"
