Inspiring teacher
Mr Perrin was by far away my favourite teacher and housemaster. He had an infectious passion for teaching history and watching / playing sport. As an 18 year with lazy tendencies, I will be forever greatful to him for inspiring and pushing me during my a levels. Without him my life would have turned out very different. Thank you. My deepest condolences

My favourite teacher
I was deeply saddened to hear of Mr Perrin's passing. He taught me A' Level History at Sexey's School Bruton in the mid 90s. His infectious enthusiasm and wonderful sense of humour set him apart. A truly great teacher. Condolences to Judith and his family and friends.

What a waste

Douglas was a colleague at St David's College, Llandudno in the 1980's - a really smashing bloke and brilliant company, respected by all: again, what a waste!

Simon Buckley
