HEALY, (Ó hÉalaithe) Clontarf and formerly of Clondrohid, Co. Cork. (Former Secretary General of the Department of Arts, Heritage, Gaeltacht and the Islands) Tadhg, passed away peacefully at his home on 10th January, 2022, in the loving care of his family after a long illness, bravely borne. Much loved husband of Mai (O’Brien) and beloved father of Nora (Mescal), Patrick (Healy) and Mary (Hodges). Sadly missed by his sons-in-law John and Darren, his daughter-in-law Catherine, his grandchildren Aoife, Seán, Conor, Darragh, Eoghan, Shane, Callum, Liam, Cayleigh-May and Tadhg, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, his extended family, neighbours, former work colleagues and a wide circle of friends. Tadhg is reposing at his home tomorrow (Thursday) 13th January from 5pm to 8pm. House private outside of these hours. Removal to St. Anthony’s Church, Clontarf on Friday 14th for Funeral Mass at 12 noon, followed by a private service in Glasnevin Crematorium. Family flowers only, please. Donations, if desired, to The Irish Cancer Society. Tadhg’s Requiem Mass will be streamed live on the following link: St. Anthony's Church webcam. In accordance with Covid-19 restrictions church capacity is restricted and attendees are requested to observe social distancing and wearing of facemasks.
