CLARKE, Professor Desmond M., (Dublin and Cork, late of Milltown, Dublin and formerly of U.C.C. and The Royal Irish Academy) - September 4, 2016, in the tender care of the staff at Our Lady's Hospice, Harold's Cross, beloved husband of Dolores, loving father to Nora and Ann, brother of the late Philip, Christopher and Mary; he will be sadly missed by his loving wife, daughters, cherished grandchildren Aida, Isabella, Emily and Eric- Desmond, brother Brian, sister Patricia, sons-in-law, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, friends and colleagues. Desmond will be resting today (Tuesday) from 5pm-7pm at the Larry Massey Funeral Home, the Eden Centre, Grange Road Rathfarnham. A service to celebrate Desmond's life will be held tomorrow (Wednesday) morning at 11am in the Chapel at Newlands Cross Crematorium, with cremation thereafter. House Private.
