DOWLING (Naas, Co. Kildare) - March 27, 2018, (following a short illness, heroically fought with dignity and courage), Thomas (Tom), beloved husband of Máirín (Nic Sheanlaoich), adored Dad of Tony, Wendy, Nigel, Feidhlim and Caoimhe and dear brother of Pat, Noel, Vincent, Brendan and the late Ann; sadly missed by his loving wife, sons, daughters, brothers, sister, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, grandchildren Finn, Freya, Patrick and Elliott, extended family Heather, Sighle, Valda and Simrat, relatives and wide circle of friends. Reposing at his home tomorrow (Friday) from 5.00pm to 8.00pm with Prayers at 7.00pm. Removal on Saturday to the Church of Our Lady and St. David, Naas arriving for 10.00am Prayer Service. Funeral immediately afterwards to St. Corban's Cemetery, Naas. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to St. Vincent de Paul Naas."Ar Dheis Dé go raibh a Anam Dílis"
DOWLING, Thomas (Tom), (Naas, Co Kildare). As we approach the First Anniversary of Tom's passing on March 27, 2018, his wife Máirín (Nic Sheanlaoich), children Tony, Wendy, Nigel, Feidhlim and Caoimhe, sister Pat, brothers Noel, Vincent and Brendan, along with the extended family, would like to thank all those who supported us in our loss over the past year. We appreciate all the gestures of kindness, expressions of comfort, emotional support, the prayers and Masses offered, messages of sympathy sent, those who attended the house during his repose and those who joined us to celebrate his life at his funeral. A special thanks to Fr Liam Morgan who made Tom's funeral so loving and personal, and for his continued support during the last year. Our deepest gratitude to the staffs of Tallaght and Naas Hospitals who cared for Tom during his illness, to our neighbours who cleared a path through the snow for us to be with Tom, and to Ballycane Church Choir and Naas Musical Society, who provided the beautiful music for the funeral. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our heartfelt thanks.
