O'CALLAGHAN, Joan (Josephine) (Shanganagh, Co. Dublin and formerly Soloheadbeg, Co. Tipperary) – June 14, 2025, following a short illness, peacefully, in the loving care of the staff of Blackrock Hospice. Formerly of RTÉ. Predeceased by her sister Mary (Tymond) and brother Willie. Joan will be sadly missed by her sister Kay (Walsh), nephews, nieces, grand-nephews and grand-nieces, brothers-in-law, relatives and friends. Reposing at Colliers Funeral Home, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray, A98 PX65 on Tuesday (June 17) from 4.00pm to 6.00pm. Funeral Mass will take place in St Nicholas’s Church Solohead, Co. Tipperary on Wednesday (June 18) at 11:30am, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to Blackrock Hospice.
