WOODS, (née McCarthy) Gwen (Dublin) - 8th February 2024 (peacefully), surrounded by her family in the kind and gentle care of the medical team and nursing staff of St. Vincent’s University Hospital. Dearly loved mother of Gillian, Ward, Justine and Frankie. Predeceased by her brother Jim. She will be sadly missed by her family, her sister Suzanne (Bolger), her children’s father Frank, adored grandchildren Stephanie, Natasha, Thoren, Sorcha, Jake, Georgina and Ryanne and their parents, Paloma, Drea, Caroline; Justine’s partner Jane and Frankie’s partner Skarlet. Also mourned by her constant and devoted companions, Trisha, Maya, and her dear friend Ethel, extended family and friends. Rest in Peace. A Humanist Service to celebrate Gwen’s life will take place on (Tuesday) afternoon (13th February) at 2.30pm at The Victorian Chapel, Mount Jerome which may be viewed on the following web link https://www.mountjerome.ie/victorian-chapel-service/ Feel free to come colourfully attired.
