O'CONNELL, Mary (née Shanahan), Gortroe, Castletown, Kilmallock, Co. Limerick and formerly of Bolane, Kildimo, Co. Limerick who died on July 10, 2016 - Husband Don, daughters Grace and Zara along with extended family would like to thank everyone most sincerely for the kind expressions of sympathy extended to us on our sad loss. We are deeply grateful to all those who attended her reposing, funeral Mass in Adare and burial in Derrynane Abbey, Co. Kerry; to those who sent Mass cards, flowers and messages of sympathy; to the doctors and staff of St. Vincent's Hospital, Dublin; to Dr. Tom Curtin and Dr. Cathy Brogan, Rathkeale for the care and support given to Mary. A very special word of thanks to Canon John O'Shea, Fr. Joe Shire and the priests who concelebrated Mary's Mass; to the musicians, Eve Stafford and Michael O'Brien. Also, a word of thanks to Mary's work colleagues at the Daughters of Charity, Lisnagry - your support will not be forgotten and to Mary's dear friends for their kindness and support. As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted as a heartfelt token of our appreciation and gratitude. Mary's Anniversary Mass will take place at Holy Trinity Abbey Church, Adare, Co. Limerick today Saturday July 8 at 7pm.
