LYDON Shirley (Sarah) (Knocknacarra, and formerly Newcastle, Galway and Roscrea, Co Tipperary): On August 12, 2023, peacefully surrounded by her loving family in the wonderful care of the staff at Áras Chois Fharraige. Much loved wife of Michael and adored mother of Martina, Avril and Yvonne. Deeply mourned and sadly missed by her husband and daughters, brothers, sons-in-law, sister-in-law, grandchildren and great- grandchildren, nieces, nephew, neighbours and friends. Reposing at St. Anthony’s Room within the Church of St. John the Apostle, Knocknacarra, Galway tomorrow (Tuesday) 15 August from 5.00pm to 6.30pm. Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Shirley at 11am on Wednesday 16 August. Following Mass she will be laid to rest in Rahoon Cemetery. House private, please. May her kind and gentle soul rest in peace
