SHAW, Violet (née Colhoun) MPS MPSI (Brownstown, Monasterboice, Co Louth) December 8, 2018. Aged 90 years. Beloved wife of the Samuel J Shaw. Sadly missed by her children Jennifer, Susan and Godfrey, sisters Phyllis and Joan, her grandchildren, nieces, nephews, former colleagues and friends. Funeral Service in St. Peter’s Church of Ireland, Drogheda today (Tuesday) at 2pm with burial afterwards in the adjoining churchyard. House Private. At Rest
SHAW - (née Colhoun) – Violet (Monasterboice, Co Louth). December 8, 2018. On Mum’s upcoming Second Anniversary, her three children, Jennifer, Susan and Godfrey, belatedly thank all those who supported us around the time of our sad loss. We greatly appreciated those relatives and friends who visited her while she was sick, who came to her funeral (so well conducted by Revd. Joyce Moore – a fellow music-lover) and who wrote or called with condolences. Above all we want to thank Mum for the lives she – along with our late father Sam (died May 3, 1993) - gave us.
