HUGHES, Carmel (née Curran) (Churchtown Dublin and formerly of Upper Dominick Street Galway) February 9, 2018, peacefully, in her 102nd year, in the kind care of the staff at Dargle Valley Nursing Home; beloved wife of the late Desmond, wonderful and loving mother of Brian, Niall , Fr. Eoin and Caroline (McArdle), mother-in-law of Sue and John, grandmother of Keith, Gillian, Sinéad, Andrew, David and Rachel, great-grandmother of Brian, Patrick, Molly, Donough, Barra and Sam and grandmother-in-law of Tara, Nick and Karl. Fondly missed by all her family, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. Removal from her home tomorrow (Tuesday) to the Church of the Good Shepherd, Churchtown arriving for 11.30am Funeral Mass followed by burial in Bohernabreena Cemetery. Family flowers only please. May she rest in peace
