May God bless Sr. Maeve’s family and friends. Her leadership and commitment to high quality elementary and middle grades education positively impacted generations of students in New Orleans, including me. I will forever be thankful for her encouragement and her belief in me.

Condolences to the family. A great educator. Her words to me remind me from where I come. She took a chance on me and made me the educator that I am today. Rest in Peace.

This is a huge loss not only too Sr. Maeve family but her many past students. She was so much more than an educator she was a light that shined and illuminated the lives of so many. I had the pleasure of having her light shine on me and to this day I will remember many of her encouraging conversations we had and her words still resonate with me and how I raise my children. Rest peacefully, job well done Sr. Maeve!
