Dear Beatrice. We were so saddened to learn of Garretts death. He was a really lovely man who we shared many enlightening conversations with. We were delighted when you first met and then got married as you complemented each other so well. Garrett couldnt have found a better partner in life and someone who looked after him so lovingly when the illness struck. Please accept our sympathies Beatrice and all the Blake and all the Barden family.

Dear Beatrice, Very sad indeed to read of Garret's passing, like yourself a good friend to me, and, in his case of course, my second cousin. I treasure my memories of my Summer visit to Duke's Mill ten years ago. I hope to be able to be with you in Lismore on Thursday, although that may be difficult. But I'll certainly try. In any event, you will be in my heart and my thoughts, and I shall be with you in spirit. RIP, Garret, a highly principled and decent human being.
