CASSIDY (Newtown Park, Leixlip and formerly of Abbeyshrule and Granard, Co. Longford) - December 18, 2005, (peacefully) after a long illness, in the exceptional care of the staff at Ryevale Nursing Home, Leixlip and in the presence of his family, Martin Aloysius, beloved husband of Helen (Mary Ellen) (née Mulhern) and dear father of Dermot, Siobhan, Finton, Conor and Oonagh; deeply regretted by his loving family, brothers Kevin and Brendan, grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters -in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. R.I.P. Removal from Cunninghams Funeral Home, Lucan to the Church of St Charles Borromeo Confey, Leixlip this (Tuesday) evening arriving at 7 o'clock Funeral tomorrow (Wednesday) after 11 o'clock Mass to Kilmashogue Cemetery, Rathfarnham. Martin worked as a horticulturist in over 14 of the poorest countries around the world, helping some of the most deprived communities there. Many people in those countries are better off today for Martin's life and his family wish this to be his legacy. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to The Alzheimer Society of Ireland.
