FRIEL KELLY, Deirdre (Bunbeg, Co. Donegal, formerly of Monkstown, Co. Dublin and late of RTE). March 29, 2017. Peacefully, in the care of the staff in the Cara Ward at St. Vincent's Private Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Barry and loving mother of Niamh, Sara and Oisín. Sadly missed by her son, daughters, sons-in-law Johnny and Denis, Oisín's partner Mars, grandchildren Daniel, Shane, Ben, Barry, Abbie and Donal, sisters Mary and Isolde, brother Michael, extended family, relatives and friends. May she Rest in Peace. Reposing this (Friday) afternoon from 4.00pm to 5.00pm in Carnegies Funeral Home, The Crescent, Monkstown. Funeral Mass tomorrow (Saturday) at 10.00am in St. Patrick's Church, Monkstown followed by Cremation at Mount Jerome Crematorium, Harold's Cross, D6w. Family flowers only please.
FRIEL KELLY, Deirdre (Magherclogher Bunbeg Co. Donegal and ex. Windsor Drive, Monkstown, Co. Dublin), March 29, marks the First Anniversary of our mum Deirdre's passing. Niamh, Sara and Oisin would like to acknowledge with heartfelt thanks the expressions of sympathy and gestures of kindness shown to us at the time of the sad loss of our mum. We would like to thank Carnegies Funeral Home who performed their duties with the caring professionalism for which they are renowned. We are very grateful to Decon Eric Cooney and all the celebrants of the funeral mass. To the wonderful musicians\singers Triona and Maighread Ní Dhomhnall and Liam Ó'Maonlaí for their hauntingly beautiful selection of music, she would have loved it. Our sincere and wholehearted thanks to Traolach Ó'Buachalla who's eulogy perfectly encapsulated the many and varied sides to this unique and beautiful woman. To Mum's siblings Michael, Mary and Isolde thank you for the many kindnesses. Lastly to our partners Johnny, Denis and Mars and mums grandchildren Daniel, Shane, Ben, Barry, Abbie and Donal words cannot express how grateful we are.Mairfidh sí go deo inár gcroirhe.
