O'BRIEN, Anne, (Clontarf and London), September 3, 2016, (unexpectedly) at James Connolly Memorial Hospital, Blanchardstown, beloved wife of Silas Hawkins, dearly loved and loving mother of Daragh and Lorna, devoted grandma to Damon and the late Marcus; deeply regretted by her brothers Barry, Derry and Ken, sisters Orlaith, Keelin, Feena and Moya, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and a wide circle of friends. Teacher, actress, singer, writer of poetry, lover of people, collector of waifs and strays, vibrant, loving, gorgeous and strong, she fought her illness with a positive spirit which was truly inspiring and she lived her life to the full. She was fortunate to pass away in her beloved country surrounded by her husband, brothers and sisters. She changed many people's lives for the better with her contribution to their education. Reposing at her sister Keelin's residence in Lucan tomorrow (Tuesday) evening from 5 o'clock Removal on Wednesday morning to St. Gabriel's Church, Clontarf for Mass at 10 o'c to celebrate her life. Funeral thereafter to Fingal Cemetery.
