MURPHY, Fr. Barry (Ardpatrick Road, Dublin 7 and Parish of Esker/Dodsboro/Adamstown), peacefully in the Nightingale Ward, Blackrock Clinic on May 23, 2013 after a long illness lived with fortitude and dignity. Second eldest son of the late Bill and Myra, and brother of the late Brian and Neil. Barry will be deeply missed by his brother Terry, sisters-in-law Jane, Thelma and June, beloved nieces and nephews Sarah-Jane, Caroline (and her fiancé Jonathan), Alan, Kate, Brian and Elizabeth, June’s son Wesley, best friend Gerry Cully, relatives, neighbours, parishioners and colleagues in the Dublin Archdiocese, and many loving friends. Requiescat in pace Domini. Rest in the peace of the Lord. Reposing at his home today Saturday (1-3 p.m.). Removal from his home today (Saturday) to St. Patrick’s Church, Esker, Newcastle Road, Lucan arriving at 5.30 p.m. Funeral Mass on Monday, May 27 at 11.00 a.m. Burial in Mulhuddart Cemetery. (Please telephone Fanagans Funeral Directors on 01-4754101 for directions to church or cemetery). The Lord will bring me safely to His heavenly kingdom. To Him be glory forever and ever. Amen.
