SWEENEY, née Thornbury, Highfield, Drogheda, Co. Louth and formerly of Clonmellon, Co. Westmeath. February 8, 2024. Peacefully at Sunhill Nursing Home, Termonfeckin, surrounded by her loving family. Ann, predeceased by her husband Kieran, sadly missed by their children Antoinette, Frank, Michael, Bernard, Mairéad and Pádraig, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, her fourteen grandchildren, sisters Joan and Mairéad, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam dílis. Funeral Mass today (Monday) at 11am in Holy Family Church, Ballsgrove, Drogheda with burial afterwards in Clonmellon Cemetery arriving at approximately 1:30pm. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to Unicef Gaza crisis fund.
