COURTNEY, DECLAN

COURTNEY, Declan (Donnybrook, Dublin), March 23, 2023, at St Vincent’s University Hospital. Beloved son of Michael and the late Elizabeth, predeceased by his brother John. He will be very sadly missed by his father, his brother Thomas, nieces, and extended family and friends. Declan also had a special place in his heart for all the staff and fellow residents at Swanlea House, Grosvenor Road, Rathmines, and Clonskeagh Hospital – Vergemount Clinic, Dublin where he resided for most of his adult life. The medical doctors and staff at both places took amazing care of him, and we would like to express our sincere gratitude and appreciation for their kindness and dedication. Removal on Wednesday morning (April 5) to the Church of the Sacred Heart, Donnybrook arriving at 10.50am for Funeral Mass at 11.00am which may be viewed on the Parish webcam donnybrookparish.ie/webcam/ followed by burial at Deans Grange Cemetery. House strictly private.
