à DOCHARTAIGH, Dr. Eoin (Galway) - On October 11, 2023, Eoin, died peacefully after a short illness in UCH, Galway. Deeply mourned by his wife Niamh, sons and daughters Niall, Conor, Eavan and Aideen, daughters- in-law Carol-Ann and Anita, son-in-law Geoff, grandchildren Caoimhe, Jamie, Dara, Ben, Sóley and Finn, brothers Aodh (Surrey UK), Pádhraic (Berlin) and Liam (Limerick), by their partners, by his nieces and nephews, other relatives and close friends. Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Eoin on today (Monday, 16 October) on arrival at St. Ignatius Jesuit Church, Sea Road at 11am. Following Mass, Eoin will be laid to rest in Rahoon cemetery. Niamh and family, there are no words to express how I feel on hearing of Eoin’s passing. He was the kindest human being I ever met and the most obliging doctor you could find. Thinking of you all at this very sad time. May he rest in peace.
