I've known Doug since around 2008. We were manytime co-conspirators since then. He had a twinkle in his eye & a wry sense of humour - well fitted to deal with whoever he might meet on the other side. He'll be missed. Sympathy to Sylvia.

So sorry to read of Doug’s death. While we never met, it was nice to share the virtual Bloomsday celebration from the Martello tower in Killiney earlier this year. My sympathy to Sylvia and her brother, Niall O’Donoghue. Felix Larkin

Dear Sylvia, you are in our thoughts and prayers on your dad loss of Doug, a true gentleman with a lovely sense of humour. The children were so sorry to hear of his passing and we're glad they met him last Christmas. Therese & Paul O'Donogh
