BURGESS, (née Green), Mary Constance (Connie), August 10, 2023, just days before her 96th birthday, at St. John’s House Nursing Home, Merrion Road. Late of Castleknock and Clonsilla and formerly on the staff of the Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast, Jervis Street Hospital, Adelaide Hospital, Richmond Hospital and Blanchardstown Hospital, Dublin. Beloved daughter of William and May Green. Predeceased by her husband, Christopher Burgess. Sadly missed and remembered with love by her cousins, Teresa, Bernadette and the McGrath family, the Cullen and Tanny families of Belfast, the McCorry family, Margaret Taylor and family, Terence Dolan, her Aird and Duffy nephews and nieces through her late husband, her dear friends Denis and Valerie Howard (children of the late Audrey Howard, her life-long friend), Chris Ward and many other friends. Funeral Mass at 1pm today (Monday) August 14 in St. John's House Nursing Home, Merrion Road, followed by cremation at Glasnevin Crematorium. The cremation prayers may be viewed live at https://www.dctrust.ie/location/glasnevin/chapel-webstream.​​html. Connie's family would like to thank the staff of St. John's House for the great care, kindness and affection shown to her over many years. 'May she rest in peace"
