NIXON John Desmond (Des) April 19, 2016 (peacefully) at Antrim Area Hospital after a long illness, borne with fortitude. Darling husband of Norma, much loved father of James, Judy, Gavin and Ciara; loving granda of Joshua, Christopher, Catherine, Dylan, Erin, Joel and Alana; dear brother of Mike and Sarah and respected father-in-law of Jonas and Oluwaseun. A service of Thanksgiving for Des's life will be held in St. Cedma's Parish Church, Larne on Friday, April 22, at 1.00pm. Followed by a private interment in Larne Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations, in lieu are welcome (cheques made payable) to Leukaemia and Lymphoma NI c/o E.W. Ramsey & Son 5 Upper Main Street, Larne BT40 1SY."Sunset and evening star,
