KILROY - The Sisters of Mercy and the family of the late Sr. Perpetua Kilroy, Lower South Knock, New Ross who died March 7, 2021, wish to thank everyone who expressed their sympathy by sending Mass Cards, comforting messages, telephone calls, floral tributes and posting condolences on RIP.ie. A special word of thanks to her relatives, extended family, neighbours, friends, past pupils, teaching colleagues and the staff and students of St. Mary’s who formed a guard of honour. Heartfelt thanks to Msgr. McGrath and Fr. Tom Orr for their support and spiritual assistance; to Dr. Mark Walsh and staff of North Gate Medical Centre, New Ross; to the doctors, nurses and staff of the Orthopaedic Unit in UHW; to the management, nurses and staff of The New Houghton Hospital, New Ross who cared for Sr. Perpetua in her final days; to the many people who participated in her Funeral Mass which was celebrated by Msgr. McGrath with soloist Stephen Murphy and musicians, Eleanor Kilroy and Sr. Frances Kennedy; to the Funeral Director, Joanne Cooney and staff for their competence, sensitivity and professionalism; to the Carmelite Sisters and to everyone who cared for, loved and supported Sr. Perpetua during her long life. It is not possible to mention everyone’s individual contribution so please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our deepest gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
