DOWNEY, Maurice (Newtown, Waterford) - November 9, 2014, (peacefully), at University Hospital, Waterford, beloved husband of Charlotte and the late Marie and loving father of Edmund, Siobhan, Frank, Catherine and Hugh; sadly missed by his family, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Rest in Peace. Removal tomorrow (Wednesday) evening to St. Joseph and St. Benildus Church, Newtown, Waterford, arriving at 7 o'clock Requiem Mass at 11.30 o'clock on Thursday. Burial afterwards in St. Mary's Cemetery, Ballygunner. House Private.

<p>Geschokt,want nu pas gezien.</p> <p>Lieve Charlotte,</p> <p>Wij zijn zeer geschokt door het bericht van overlijden van je lieve man Maurice.</p> <p>We hebben nu net gehoord van Ellen dat hij overleden is. Wij beide hebben het op FB niet gezien en snappen niet hoe dat kan. We hadden anders uiteraard wel meteen iets laten horen. Vanwege toch de kosten zijn we niet meer naar jullie toegekomen. Hetgeen ons nu nog meer spijt en ook dat we niet bij de uitvaart waren, doordat we het niet wisten. Ach wat zal je hem nu missen.Wij bewaren hele goede herinneringen aan ons samen zijn destijds vier jaar geleden. Walter heeft de laatste tijd veel aan hem gedacht vertelde hij mij. Hoe ga je nu verder in het grote huis vol herinneringen. Red je het een beetje en heb je veel steun van de kinderen ? Is het een lang ziekbed geweest, of kwam het toch nog onverwacht. Charlotte we zijn bij je in gedachten en wensen je heel veel sterkte. Nogmaals onze welgemeende excuses voor de veel te late reactie.</p> <p>Liefs,</p> <p>Walter en Paulien</p>
