LYNCH, Dr. John (Taylor’s Hill and University Hospital, Galway and formerly Blanchardstown, Dublin) - December 4, 2019, peacefully at home in the loving care of his wife Louise and children Danny and Katie, following an illness borne with great dignity. Sadly missed and deeply mourned by his heartbroken family, his parents Martin and Mary, sister Bernadette, parents-in-law Joe and Bernadette Giblin (Newbridge, Co. Galway) uncles and aunts, brother-in-law Martin, sisters-in-law Elaine, Deirdre, Sinéad and Aoife and their families, the extended Lynch and Giblin family and friends. Reposing at the O’Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, Galway this (Friday) evening from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Requiem Mass on tomorrow (Saturday) at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Church, Presentation Road. Funeral after Mass to Rahoon cemetery. Family flowers only, please. House Private. Memorial donations (if desired) to the Galway Hospice. May his kind and gentle soul rest in peace

John was my neurologist in Galway for the last number of years.I will miss his sense of humour and his brilliance and he will never be replaced.​Sincere sympathy to his family and send them strength xx

John was my neurologist for many years. A truly wonderful man who had so much time for his patients. Thanks for everything John you were a wonderful wonderful man. Galway has lot a gent xxxx ❤️
