Thank you and heartfelt sympathies

Cathy did not meet all of the young and older people that she inspired to take part in the 1913 Lockout Tapestry Project from Larkin Community College and Lourdes Day Care Centre for the Elderly. May you take comfort in knowing that her memory lives on in the beautiful memories she helped to create for all of us

Cathy

So shocked and saddened to hear of Cathy's passing. In their ( always welcoming) Ballyholme family home The Hendersons became as an extension of my own mother and father's family in my parents' later years. I know my mother had an especially close connection with Cathy and her late mother, Mary. I am so pleased my mum and dad had the Hendersons as close friends , through their connection I had the pleasure of spending time with Cathy and David in Bangor and Dublin where the family generosity and zest for life was alive and well. Speaking to Cathy's brother Stephen and father Peter last night brought back so many good memories, but the loss of Cathy's warm spirit and bright light leaves me very sad. Heartfelt condolences to David and family.

x
