CULLITON - Rory (Glenlahan, Co. Portlaoise, December 23, 2021) - As we approach the First Anniversary of Rory’s death, Mary, Ross, Jill, and Steven together with Marie, Jimmy and Zara and his sister and brother Ann and David, wish to thank most sincerely all who have supported us in so many ways since his death on December 23, 2021. We appreciate the support of all who attended Rory’s funeral in person and through the webcam and those who expressed their sympathy in beautiful letters and cards. Our heartfelt thanks to Monseigneur John Byrne for his care and support to our family at a time of great sadness, and to Matthew Keegan for the professional way in which he carried out Rory’s funeral. We are especially grateful to all those who cared for and supported Rory during his illness. Thank you to Dr.Jim and Dr.Aisling Quinlan our wonderful General Practitioners. Special thanks to Dr.Anne Fortune and the Medical and Nursing Teams in the Mater Hospital for the exceptional care which Rory and the family received in the very difficult circumstances of the pandemic. We have been overwhelmed by the kindness of those who continue to send messages of sympathy and support and we may not be able to thank everyone personally. Please take this as an acknowledgement of your kindness. The holy sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions.
