McCARTIE, John (Dublin) - August 18, 2015 (peacefully) in the excellent care of Dr. David Fennelly and the nursing staff of the Cara Ward, St. Vincent's Private Hospital after a long illness bravely borne. Loving husband and best friend of Anne, wonderful Dad of Ciara, Niall, Joanne and Conor. Predeceased by his brother Aidan. Will be sadly missed by his brother Brendan, sister Clare, son-in-law Colm, daughter-in-law Sally, sister-in-law Angie, brother-in-law Frank (Boston), grandchildren Kate, Sarah, Rhys, Matthew and Rebecca, aunts, uncles, cousins and a large circle of friends. Funeral Mass tomorrow (Friday) at 10.30am in the Church of the Holy Cross, Dundrum to Dean's Grange Cemetery. All enquiries to Fanagans Funeral Directors, Dundrum on 01-2984143.
